Does my car have a valved exhaust:
The easiest way to determine if your 991 is equipped with a factory valved exhaust is to look at the tips. A factory valved exhaust will have a pipe located in each tip outlet. The outer tip will be clamped to the tip pipe, while the inner tip pipe will be floating inside the inner tip. On non-valved cars there is only a single tip pipe that the tips bolt to.
NOTE: This Valvetronic Muffler Bypass X-Pipe can be only be used cars equipped with a valved factory exhaust. This system is not compatible with cars that are equipped with a standard non-valved exhaust.
